  • Jon and Kate, I pretty much hate.

(A Masters Mind will return next week..)
    (Tribute to MJ, later today)

So, there is quite a stir with these damn two...you know....

    Them - - - >

Am I the only one sick of them?

I mean, I am not trying to say any thing bad but...

WHO GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THEM!?

Before the weak of tragedy last week, I remember watching the news, and this being one of the top stories. Okay...Wow...all the stuff in the world and we are worried about these fools...

In case you have been living under a rock or do not believe in television, or your amish, Let me just give you the back story.

These two people got married. She got pregnant with twins. gave birth. Then got pregnant again. had sextuplets. Gave birth. Now they have 8 kids. TLC documented a day in their life. people loved it. TLC gave them a show. The parents let the stardom get to their head. And we end up here.

Now apparently, Kate (from just watching an episode) is demanding as all hell. Not to mention she is pretty aggressive. Jon basically sat back and let her run it all. So apparently, Jon needed an escape and now has a 23 year old girlfriend....And says "he is finally able to do what he wants..."

    Oh I am sorry...

Because adultery is definitely something to model for your children...And you feel liberated now? BULLSHIT....

I really have no pity for this dude. Yes, Kate is demanding, but in order to run a household of 10 people, what do you expect? If she was bland and didn't run stuff like she did, he would've left anyway.

I dont like this douchebag because I noticed that he ran around while leaving the children in the care of his baby mama. Im sorry, but thats classic douchebagery. I mean, so worried about your pleasure. Yeah...I really cant stand that guy right now.

I have such a blunt opinion because, I am the result of divorced parents...but my folk always kept their kids priority...And I dont see that from Jon...I mean I have no problem if dude wants to get it on...thats fine...but, umm...YOUR ON TV! YOUR FAMOUS! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU CHEAT!? I dont understand...why risk getting your ass pointed out? And furthermore, why not step up and be a father first?

See, this is my problem with society. Children are made, then seen as second class citizens. NO NO NO...If your going to make a kid...then that KID becomes your #1 prioity. REGARDLESS. I feel so sorry for those 8 kids bc I am sure they will hear about this in the future...Lets pray that their father can clean up his image.

Back to the couple themselves...I have a problem with the show/couple in general.

Apparently, their $$ and such is made from just the TV show. And basically they are exploiting their children for $$. YES I SAID IT. I think everyone has thought that but never said it. I mean would we see Jon and Kate minus 8? Hell no. Hell, I would think that watching her beat the hell out him wouldnt be worth the time or money. But basically they are parading around as a side show, showing off their 8 kids. Wow.. Wonderful..SO WHAT! there have been families of +9 +10 +11 etc...hell (I gulp as I say this, because this couple makes me so angry and I cant stand their show, and they gross me out...) but i rather watching 18 and Counting with those weird ass Duggars.

SIDE NOTE: Okay...That 18 And Counting  show freaks me out because its almost like 7th Heaven to the 3rd power.

None the less, what do i think they should do?

End the show, and get on with their lives...

(felt so good to get that out...lol)

I seen 2 mins of the show and knew that they weren't going to last long.  If he wanted to leave her then he should have done that instead of cheating on her.  He pretty much left her ass and the kids.  You shouldn't have made 8 kids you dumb shyt.  She is demanding as hell though.  I would have to put her in her place

Dream Big, Start at Home? I thought that was HGTV, not TLC...

Anyway, let's rock and roll on the comments of this post instead of the tags... I'll be the "gear grinding" commentary to start off with. In most ways I completely agree with you, and the only attention I give this is because of the media-publicized children. I honestly hate the fact that these children never had a childhood of their own to speak of, because TLC was filming their daily lives. On that, I feel the family was somewhat deprived from the beginning.

As a married man, I honestly can say that I understand moments where a guy or a woman can look at their spouse and say, "this ain't cuttin' it..." and want something different... The decision and action are the lines of barrier. I'm with Adrian, in that he should've just left, before the infidelity though, and the responsibility of his children should have been forefront. With the media coverage, I have to say that's clearly among the things missing in this. His concern level seems absent at best. I say 'absent at best' because that's making a leap of faith to think that it actually still exists...

you forgot the fact that they are continuing the show, even though they're divorcing. hmmm what's the real priority: the kids, or that cash flow...

I have watched the show from time to time when there is nothing else on tv. However, the times that I have watched it I've always noticed that Kate was a lil too bossy. Like when they're sitting on the couch talking to the camera, she'd be the one doing all the talking & whenever Job tryed to say something she would cut him off or correct him. I never really saw him interacting with the kids much because whenever he did, Kate would get mad because she's accuse him of not doing something right. And they had all those f*cking maids/assistants!

None of that is an excuse for him to run out though. In my opinion, they both contributed to the downfall of their marriage by inviting millions of people to watch them. They weren't thinking about the kids or themselves, they just saw dollar signs.

But all in all, I only feel sorry for the kids because they never got to act like kids. They always had to perform for the camera. That's why they seem so wild and unruly on the show because they have no structure.

lol wow... most of this entry I agree with... some I don't... but either way, it was all pretty hilarious how you put it...

yeah, that's a very good point... I, myself, have observed how pretty bossy and domineering she can be particularly towards her husband even to the point of sort of sometimes treating him like he's one of her kids...but at the same time, it is really amazing and a trip to me how many people (the public as well as the media) have really made all of this mostly her fault... My thing is, at the end of the day, he's a grown ass man, and if he had a major issue with how she came at him, he shoulda did something about it other than going to another woman...IF he did..  That is just no excuse.  Especially, like you said, considering he is a father of eight young children and is pretty much a reality TV star...

I have such a blunt opinion because, I am the result of divorced parents...but my folk always kept their kids priority...And I dont see that from Jon...I mean I have no problem if dude wants to get it on...thats fine...but, umm...YOUR ON TV! lol yeah, my sentiments exactly... We don't know for sure if he did it - if he actually commited adultery, although many signs point to yes, but nevertheless...and we also don't know if she, too, has been guilty (the rumors about her and one of their bodyguards)...but if either or both is true, I'm with you - why in the world would you subject yourself and especially your many young children to that sort of scrutiny?!?  It'd be bad enough if they were regular, everyday people, but it seems much worse with them having their own TV show and therefore being pretty nationally-recognized!

Apparently, their $$ and such is made from just the TV show. And basically they are exploiting their children for $$. YES I SAID IT. I think everyone has thought that but never said it. I mean would we see Jon and Kate minus 8? Hell no. Hell, I would think that watching her beat the hell out him wouldnt be worth the time or money. lol I think the best thing they shoulda did was maybe have the TV show for the first few years of the kids' lives while it wouldn't really make too much of a difference in their emotional and mental developments, save up all of the money from that time, and then let the show go and try and return to a normal family... A lot of folks have passed judgment on them deciding to have their kids on TV, but I think until you have twins and then sextuplets not too long after and regular, 9-to-5 jobs like they did (which might barely take care of a few kids, let alone 8 very young ones)...I don't really think anyone could truly say what they would do in that situation... Tryna take care of one or two children at different ages is hard enough, financially and energy-wise - I can only imagine what trying to take care of not just young twins but six babies all the same age at the same time would be like!  Like the saying goes, desperate times....

And sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do!  Perhaps them deciding to do the TV show and ride it out for a while was in fact what they felt would be best for their kids at one time, so that their kids would have the best possible life, despite the circumstances of their unusual family...

SIDE NOTE: Okay...That 18 And Counting  show freaks me out because its almost like 7th Heaven to the 3rd power.

lol that was hilarious... I used to love 7th Heaven back in the day!  but I do see your point with that analogy... 7th Heaven to the 3rd power, lol - classic!

wow... sorry for such a long comment

but u should be used to it by now

  • whoanow

@MystDaPimP - LOL I am just imagining you putting her in her place...that would be pretty entertaining television. Actually you having a show putting people in their places would be pretty entertaining in general...hmm (ponders the idea. lol)

@manofcivility - Yeah I think of HGTV when watching TLC because I love the first home shows...except for house hunters international...I really dont care about other countries homes because I dont plan to leave the US anytime soon. (like ever). But, side note...property virgins lady-host thing is annoying at times...

Anyway, That is one of my discoveries I have found in the last few months.. I could not be married. unless, perhaps I live in a seperate house with my wife and she does not become incohoots with the ladies in my life (Holmes, Mother, and my best friend Tarell.) I dont think I would be able to do it. Lol.

@saturdai17 - MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY.....MON-NAY. We all know that...Lol I think they should just live a normal lives before we have a bunch of female versions of hustlers and i guess, uhh male versions? (stupid beyonce).

@JeNeSaisQuoi86 - Thank you...I wanted to lecture those children. They were slamming doors! YOU DONT SLAM DOORS! lol. They seem so loud...I couldnt do it. No one thinks about the poor dogs.... I am sure they are terrorized by those monsters!

@Aggiesysta - ...WOW. I kinda fainted because it was so much lol. I agree with basically your whole comment. ( I did read it.) But on that side note.. Lol yes, I love 7th heaven, I just finished the whole season on Hallmark. I saw seasons 96-2002 and the last season 2007, however, I didnt see the episodes inbetween. After seeing the whole series...I am just so happy...it was such a GOOD SHO! I mean I was just in shock. One of Spelling's finest.

  • JeNeSaisQuoi86

@whoanow - wtf, they had a dog?! LOL, I never saw a dog, he probably was off hiding under a bed or something

  • Aggiesysta

@whoanow - yeah, I used to watch that show religiously for several years...then, some time along the way, I just somehow stopped watching... Can't remember why or how, but I do know that show was on a whole helluva lot longer after I stopped watching, much to my surprise... That show was on forEVER!  especially for the kinda show it was... but yeah, while I was into and keeping up with, it was really a fantastic show... Really, REALLY loved it!  even really loved its theme song, lol.. Seeventh Heaven, when I see their happy faces smiling back at me... Seeeventh Heaven... I know there's no greater feeling than the love of family... Where do you goooooooo when the world don't treat you right?  The answer is hoooooooooooome... That's the one place that you'll find!  ...Seeventh Heaven... Mmmmmmmmmmm, 7th Heaven... (*music* - dun dun)... 7th Heaven (dun dun dun dun duuuun)

and MY how they - especially Ruthie & Simon - GREW while on that show !  that was always cool to see...
